March Madness & April Stuff

March was full of family events with my cousin Beth getting married. She was such a beautiful bride and it was great to see family, especially those from out of town.

Then I got sick for a week (of course it was the week my boss was out of town)! Finally went to Instacare to be told there was nothing wrong with me, except whatever bug was running around the area. Some day I will die of nothing...LOL!

Work has been stressful this week. I had my taxes done last week...just shoot me now!! I probably need to get two more jobs to finance my taxes. I will be quitting all my outside activities for a while. I just can't afford to be a social butterfly!

I have really cut back on my bowling as well, but did bowl this week with two reasonable scores and one "what the heck happened" score...185/116/160...

Nothing to get too excited about...til next time!

My 49th Birthday!!

Monday was my 49th Birthday! Not much to get excited about, just another Monday!

My mom called at 11:30 and asked what I was doing for lunch, which was nothing. So she and my aunt Linda showed up with pizza and roses...120 roses to be exact!! Various colors and so pretty.

She knew and then promply forgot in the space of five minutes that Costco/Sam's does 24 per bunch not 12 and being that my age is an odd one...she needed two packages plus one flower and then started gathering them. I had red ones, yellow ones, white ones and pale yellow tinged with red.

After work, I trimmed the bottoms off and arranged them in the vases and took some back to mom. We met up at Marie Callendar's for dinner with Linda.

Got several cards and emails. It was a nice day after all!
